A client experience specialist, Katie Lee first started working with TKXS in 2010 and came on board full-time in 2015.

1. What is your role at TKXS?

As a client experience specialist, I provide inside sales support for our agriculture stakeholders. What that really means is that I’m the eyes and ears for what’s happening on the ground and in the field with end users in the farming community. I let growers know about new products and services to make their growing experiences easier and more profitable. I also channel back vital information to help our stakeholders grow their business and adjust products and services as needed. Finally, I’m always looking to add to TKXS’ bottom line.

2. What drew you to this business?

I previously had a very different career. However, 20+ years of counseling domestic violence and sexual assault survivors eventually took a toll on me. I was unsure what to do next, but got wind of TKXS in 2010. They needed someone to offer customer service to farmers across the U.S. Well, I’d grown up farming. (I learned to drive a Farmall tractor when I was just eight years old!) So, it felt like things had come full circle.

3. What advice do you wish you’d been given early in your career?

Nothing is impossible when you have a passion for what you do and love. Don’t be afraid to say “no” or “I don’t know.” Always be willing to learn. Be like a sponge -- soak it in, keep what works, and expel the clutter.

4. What do you want people to know about TKXS?

TKXS is a sound place to work. You can literally be challenged and learn something new every day. We are a force to be reckoned with. If you’ve got a problem, we can solve it!
